To help get myself out of the "Mythanksgivingwascrapandchristmasisbarrellingtowardmebutistillfeelshitty" Blues, I'm trying to get into the holiday mood. For me, a good Christmas movie can make any ASSissific day better. One of my favorite Christmas movies of ALL time is "It's a Wonderful Life". Something about that George Bailey makes me all weak-kneed (don't judge me). So, the haiku this week is to share YOUR favorite Christmas movie with me. I'll go first:
clarence helped save him
whiny girl with that bell line
crushing on george bailey
Oh, p.s. - the Angry Alien Bunnies people have Made. My. Day. I wouldn't doubt it'll get even you - hey you there, with the scowl and feeling as UN-into being nice to people today as I am - it'll even make you crack a demi-smile.

A Christmas Story!
It says Fra Gee Lay
why, it must be italian!
large cheesy leg lamp
or
Randy, eat your food
Show mommy how piggies eat
Mommy's lil' piggy

Whats worse... that I've never seen 'Its a wonderful life' and I am almost 33? Or the fact that the bunny version has me intrigued enough to watch the real deal? lol.
I somehow wound up at your blog and thought I would say hi. I am horrible w/ Haiku's but I have to share one of my favorite lines from one of my favorite Christmas movies...
"Merry Christmas... the shitter was full!" from National Lampoons Christmas vacation.
Teehee. :)

I have to go with A Christmas Story as well:
You'll put your eye out.
Waiters singing "Fa ra ra".
That goose is smiling...
or
Dad changes the tire.
I thought I was helping him...
I didn't say fudge.

Well, it was a TV special, but here goes...
His mother gave up
her life to let him become
the chosen donkey.
Nestor's cute long ears,
sweet face and tragic loss had
brother and I in tears

I like christmas for the beer etc. (it's in summer in Australia) but:
I have to say that
christmas specials piss me off
but others like them
I s'pose they're O.K.
In small doses, but they're played
Over and over.

This is totally unrelated to your post, but I just had to comment when I saw that you're listening to James Blunt. I just bought his CD last night after falling in love with his "No Bravery" on a compilation CD. I'm so excited to add him to my group of 20-something-singer/songwriting boys. :)

Oh, I love Christmas Specials on TV. So many to choose from but I will go with my man Charlie Brown:
Snoopy and Charlie
The sad little Christmas Tree
