But I feel your pain. My 12 year old daughter is currently wearing my favorite sweater b/c I shrunk it last time I washed it.

whoa..that is some serious shrinkage! not unlike any cotton shirt I've ever purchased from old navy. (frowny face)

You may want to try re-wetting with water and then try blocking it. Here is a quick tutorial/pics of what blocking is. Might work?
