I am wretchedly late in publishing this, but I became engulfed in this blog's redesign and decided to try to punish myself by not being allowed to publish any posts until I FINISHED IT! Well, for the most part it's complete, so to cut to the chase...
A couple of weeks ago on Twitter, I asked people what their favorite books had been in childhood. I listed A Little Princess & Anne of Green Gables. Then, of course, the Twitter community picked up the ball and reminded me of a LOT of old favorites I'd forgotten, as well as piqued my interest in some I've never heard of. (Gah, Twitter, is there no end to your Supreme Rule Over Internet Awesomeness?)
Check out these Twitlets' responses; maybe you'll find a new favorite for the young reader in your life.
